Yes. After copying the installation files from our site or after receiving the installation CD, read the "Install.doc" This file contains all the instructions of how to act to obtain a temporary license. Click here to download a version for evaluation.
Does UniCAM
run in
the didactic mode ?
Yes. At the very
beginning of the UniCAM development, we decided that the system should be easy
to be learned and used and a means could be available to the people interested
in a copy of the system. Also, taking into consideration the need of schools
requiring several copies to be used in the laboratories. So, we developed the
UniCAM to be able to run in the didactic mode, without system protection.
These copies comply
fully with the training and/or program production in other stations. They allow
the use of the UniCAM in almost its totality, saving program, simulating
machining, etc, inclusive.

What to do to
learn the use of UniCAM ?
You can learn yourself. Together with the
installation, there are tutorials, that guide the user , step by step, showing
how to define a part geometry and the technology. There are tutorials to Lathing,
2D and 3D Milling and Wire Electro.
The other way, faster and more adequate, is to contact GHL, one of
its representatives or one of the learning entities that use the UniCAM and
perform a training in your own enterprise.
Although only one day is necessary to learn the use of the
UniCAM, we suggest 3 days, with a total of 24 hours, distributed in 3 workdays,
8 hours every day, so that the basic and advanced stages could be seen.
If you are using the UniCAM in the didactic mode, you can use
it indefinitely. If you requested a license with post-processor for your
machine, usually 30 days is enough time in order that you can evaluate the
product. Any other term may be agreed with the GHL.

Can I make
programs
to my CNC machines
?
Yes. When requesting a temporary license, you must inform the type of
machine that will be programmed by the UniCAM, model and what is the numerical
control unity. So, we will send you together with the license the post-processor
appropriate to your machine.

Is there technical
support
to whom that so far did
not register the copy ?
Yes, but only through the Internet. You can send us an
E-mail, with your doubts, attach the UniCAM program and the design of the part
that you want to make. Try to be as clear as possible, so that we can clarify
your doubt as soon as possible.
